This mug was thrown on a pottery wheel, painted, and carved by hand. It features a unique "above and below" look at a dabbling duck!
"Dabbling" is the term for feeding underwater while floating on the surface. When ducks do this - their bums go straight up in the air and their little legs kick out wildly. I always get a kick out of seeing it!
This design captures the joy and silliness of dabbling ducks - with small fish, cat-tails, dragonflies, and other features you'd see at the lake.
