Shipping & Production Policy

1. Made‑to‑Order Timeline

  • Presale Purchases – Your mug is created after you place the order. I work in small, focused batches to keep quality high and waste low.

  • Timeline – Orders are shipped 4–6 weeks after purchase. In case you're curious, that timeline includes throwing, trimming, painting, carving, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and a final kiln firing. Seasonal drops sometimes fill faster. If for any reason production is anticipated to take more than six weeks, I’ll email an updated target date prior to creation of the order.

  • Progress Emails – You may or may not receive email updates on each stage of your order as it is created. The best way to receive product updates is to follow us at https://www.instagram.com/mindfulwildart

2. Packing & Carriers

  • Each piece is cushioned in reused or recycled materials and securely boxed to survive a cross‑country trek (and the occasional postal rodeo).

  • Orders ship via USPS Priority or UPS Ground with tracking and $100 insurance included. You’ll receive the tracking link for your order within 24 hours of label creation.

3. Domestic Transit Times

These are somewhat subject to the whims of the postal service, but standard delivery timelines are:

  • Continental U.S. – 2‑5 business days after the box leaves my studio.

  • Alaska & Hawaii – 5‑10 business days.

4. International Shipping

  • Due to recent uncertainty with international shipping and expenses, I am only shipping within the United States. I am working to broaden shipping availability and hope to provide International shipping soon!

5. Combined & Split Shipments

  • Multiple items from the same drop will ship together to save materials and reduce your costs.

  • If you purchase ready‑to‑ship work and presale pieces in one order, I’ll hold everything until the presale items are finished. Want them split? Email me within 48 hours and I will provide a quote to send them separately.

6. Damages & Lost Boxes

  • If your pottery arrives damaged, email hello@mindfulwildart.com within 48 hours with clear photos of the item, packing materials, and box exterior. I’ll file the insurance claim and either refund or remake your piece.

  • A shipment is considered lost if tracking shows no movement for 15+ days (domestic) or 30+ days (international). We’ll replace or refund after that window.

7. Cancellations & Changes

  • You may cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of purchase—after that, the clay is already in motion.
