Notes on Shipping, Care, and Handless Mugs

Shipping and Handling
Insured shipping and handling is calculated at checkout. For pre-made pieces, your order will be shipped within 10 business days and generally arrive within 5-10 days after it is shipped. For pre-order or custom pieces, shipping timelines are provided at checkout - typically 4-6 weeks from order to arrival.

I have never had anything break in the mail, but if it does arrive broken, reach out and I will file a shipping insurance claim to ensure you are fully reimbursed.

General Care Best Practices
All of my glazes are dinnerware safe - a higher-level standard of durability and safety than standard food-safe glazes. Though they are technically microwave and dishwasher safe, best practice is always to hand wash and minimize use of the microwave. This will help ensure the longevity of your piece.

Handless mugs are gaining popularity with coffee and tea enthusiasts BUT if you are unfamiliar with them you should know that your mug will become hot (like - really hot) and may not be able to be held/carried until your beverage has cooled to a comfortable temperature.

Especially for tea, which often uses boiling water, use caution when lifting or carrying your mug as it may be hotter than it seems at first-touch.
