Longhorn Cow/Calf Mug (SECONDS)

Hand Feel: The interior and exterior are glazed with a cream matte glaze. It is smooth and fully coats the clay except the mug bottom and painted area.

Seconds Note: This mug has a slight warp to the rim (picture 4) and a few imperfections in the glaze to the left of the cows (visible in picture 2). These defects are purely aesthetic and do not influence usability, safety, or durability of the piece. Pricing reflects "seconds" discount!

Design Notes:

100% Hand-painted, functional art. What makes these mugs extra-special is that they were painted with actual clay underglazes! That's cool for two reasons: 1. they are dishwasher safe and will not wear off over time. 2. Underglazes are a different color/tone when you paint them on, than they will be after firing! Semi-realistic underglaze painting is a real challenge!
